
Colin Durand:
During his career Colin has held senior executive roles in Australia and New Zealand. In 1994 he established the Sydney office of The Insight Group with Malcolm Duncan. An experienced executive search practitioner he has developed high level contacts throughout Australia, New Zealand, the United States and Europe.
Colin is currently a Governor of The American Chamber of Commerce, Sydney and a Trustee of The Committee for Economic Development of Australia. He has completed two executive management programs at Harvard University Business School.
Malcolm Duncan:
Malcolm entered the field of Executive Search in 1988 as an Associate in a leading international Executive Search Group and in 1991 he was made a Principal of the firm. During this period Malcolm worked primarily in the areas of professional services, banking and finance and with leading industrial companies.
Malcolm co-founded The Insight Group In 1994 and continues to provide executive search and consulting services in the above areas with Top 100 Australian companies and Fortune 500 organisations. Malcolm also undertakes independent management assessment of Board members and senior executive teams and coaching of senior executives.
Malcolm holds a Bachelor of Arts (Psychology), Master of Arts and Diploma of Education. He has also completed a General Management Program at Stanford University.
Peter Nisbet:
A founding Partner of The Insight Group, Peter has an executive search career which now spans more than 20 years. Based in Melbourne Peter conducts assignments Australia-wide in the public and private sectors with particular emphasis on professional and financial services, private companies, manufacturing and health. Earlier in his career Peter spent time within the publishing sectors as well as a Sociologist in Community Development and Urban Policy.
Peter holds a Bachelor of Arts degree and Graduate Diploma in Urban Policy.
Rohan Carr:
Following an early career in the accounting and finance sectors Rohan has spent more than 10 years in executive search both at The Insight Group and a global search firm. He has consulted to major international public and private companies as well as emerging high growth organisations within financial services, professional services, not for profit sectors, higher education, manufacturing, consumer goods and the arts.
Rohan holds Bachelor of Commerce, Master of Business Administration, Graduate Diploma in Applied Finance and Investment and Doctor of Business Administration qualifications.
Professor Leslie Kilmartin (Principal):
Les is a Principal in The Insight Group’s Higher Education Practice, working exclusively with Universities in the appointment of senior academics and university professionals. Les was previously a senior university manager for over 20 years.
He has been a Dean of Humanities and Social Sciences, Dean of Regional Development, Pro Vice-Chancellor (International) and has led a number of University international projects. In addition to being a Pro Vice-Chancellor (Regional Development) and Head of La Trobe University’s Bendigo campus, he was Professor of Regional and Urban Studies. He also established and was Foundation Director of the Centre for Sustainable Regional Communities at La Trobe University. |
